Look of the Day
Welcome to these pages giving ideas on how to apply makeup. Various makeup "artists" have their own formula for makeup application, but what I'm showing here is basics, easy enough for anyone to follow.
Day make-up should be natural and harmonious. The best day look (depending on the work situation) is to use lighter, earth tones, as they are more professional and don't attract a lot of attention, but rather highlighting the natural beauty.

Use a green concealer to neutralize the red tones on the skin. Use a small sponge to apply a minimal amount of the foundation to match the skin tone evenly on the entire face. Set the make-up with translucent powder.
Define the eyebrows using a natural brown, but not too dark. Use a three-toned shadow and build from the lids to brow allowing them to blend into each other. Start with a light colour that almost matches your lid then blend the lightest shade up to the brow bone to highlight. Follow with a medium gold colour on the eyelid, a dark brown in the crease of eye. Smudge eyeliner a quarter of the way in on the upper and lower lids. Apply a black mascara and brush out any clots.
Sweep a natural blush, not too dark, underneath the cheekbone no further than the pupil of the eyes.
Define the lips with brown lip liner. Choose a natural shade that complements the all over look and apply with a lip brush.
