Welcome to these pages giving ideas on how to apply makeup. Various makeup "artists" have their own formula for makeup application, but what I'm showing here is basics, easy enough for anyone to follow.

Before you Start:
* Always apply makeup to clean skin (follow the routine appropriate for your skin type).
* Make sure you have all the appropriate makeup tools and products you need.
* Apply makeup in a well-lighted area.

Getting your skin tone right is the most important step of your makeup and the trick is to make it appear as if you aren't wearing any makeup at all. Here are some important steps to take before you apply your makeup:

Good skin care is a combination of proper nutrition, good elimination, sleep and exercise.
Feeding the Skin - A critical step required to get healthy and glowing skin is to eat a balanced diet containing plenty of Vitamins A, C, D and E.
Exfoliations - Remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin to rejuvenate your face.
Prep the Face - Foundation will glide over a moisturized, plumped face so much better than a dry one. Use a primer or a moisturizer with SPF.

Tip: Be sure to blend, blend, and blend. Special areas to watch are the hair and jaw line.

Face For this look the face needs to look even and flawless, so carefully blend Age Renew Foundation - 40 Cream to the cheeks, forehead, nose, chin, and eyelids. Use a Translucent Powder to set. Apply Bronzing Powder - 01 Golden to the areas of the face the sun would naturally hit. Forehead, down the nose and along the cheeks and a small amount to the chin. Build up the colour gradually, so you get exactly the shade you want.

Eyes Fill in brows with Earth Spirit single - 110 Onyx eyeshadow using a small angle brush. Apply the liner Kohl Pencil - 020 Black close to the upper and lower lashes and blend it so you don't have a harsh line, but create depth. Use a three-toned Earth Spirit Singles Shadow and build from the lids to brow allowing them to blend into each other. Start with a dark grey colour 110 Onyx across your lid only and build on this with a 128 Passionate Plum in the crease of eye and blend well. Finish off with Wicked White under the eyebrows and in the corners of the eyes. Apply Black/Brown 7237 Master Piece Volumne & Definition Mascara and brush out clots.

Cheeks Using a soft blusher brush, apply Flawless Perfection Blush - 223 Natural Glow onto the apples of your cheeks and blend upward towards the hairline.

Lips Line lips with Ruby Colour Liner no10. Blending the corners with Midnight Plum 710 Lipstick and apply Silk Gloss - Sheer Frost in the middle of the lips to create a 3 dimentional look.
