Bridal Make-up
About your trial - Generally brides want a natural look, but this is your day and I will work with you to create the look you desire.
I will suggest some looks for you and then I will apply a full make-up. The rehearsal is for making sure that you have the exact look that you will be walking down the isle with, so we will keep working with it until you are completely satisfied.
I will make detailed notes (and photo) for my records; so that on your wedding day I have everything I need to replicate your look and you can just sit back and be pampered with the confidence that you will look your radiant best!
The trial is normally done about a month before the wedding. The details which I like to know at the trial are:
- What is the wedding colour scheme?
- What is the style of the dress?
- What jewellery are you wearing?
- How are you wearing your hair?
- Are you wearing a tiara and/or veil? If so bring that with to the trial session.
On Your Wedding day - I will arrive at your chosen venue a little early to set up my work station. After your hair is done, I require at least 45 minutes with your make-up and 30 minutes per person with the rest of your wedding party.
We just got our wedding album from the photographer and the the pics are amazing. You really did make all the girls in the bridal party look fantastic. Now we look back at the day and we can't believe how well everything worked out. Thank you again for being so understanding when all the bridesmaids decided to get their make-up done- they are all truly grateful and felt amazing on the day. As for me, its one of the few times in my life that I have felt truly beautiful- thank you for that.

A touch-up kit is available for purchase. Ideal bridesmaids gifts, mother of the bride gift or other wedding party member gift! This needs to be ordered at the trial make-up.

Wedding Make-up Tips
Do your make-up after you have done your hair and just before dressing.
Make-up should be a little more darker than your everyday make-up, as 50 - 70 percent of the make-up will disappear with flash photography, but care must be taken not to make it too dark.
A yellow undertone foundations create a more natural look when using with flash photography.
If you have a summer wedding, go for bright, pastel colours and for winter go for warm, deeper shades.
Shimmer highlighters give a reflective shine in photographs and are not recommended for flash photography.
Don't go too dark on the lipstick if you have black and white photographs taken, the darker the colour the more black the lips will appear.
Every bride should use waterproof mascara.
